This Privacy Policy explains how MaxBrann (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use the MaxBrann website and service, which prepares replies to Google Business Profile reviews for business owners. MaxBrann is operated from Israel. Contact: info@maxbrann.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in with Google.
- Business Profile data: if you connect your Google Business Profile, we access your business name and locations, the reviews customers leave, and the replies to them. We access only what is needed to read reviews and publish replies you approve.
- Your instructions: answers you give us (for example, “What happened?” for a negative review), reply edits, language and tone settings.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
- Technical data: basic logs (date, time, browser type, IP address) needed to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use information
- To prepare draft replies to your reviews and publish the replies you approve.
- To send you notifications about new reviews.
- To manage your subscription and provide support.
- To protect the service against abuse and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google user data
MaxBrann’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the review-reply features you see in the service. We do not transfer it to others except to the service providers needed to run those features (see section 4), as required by law, or with your consent. We do not use Google user data to train general AI models. People at MaxBrann do not read your data unless you ask us for support, it is needed for security or legal reasons, or the data is aggregated and anonymous.
Access tokens are stored encrypted. You can remove MaxBrann’s access at any time in your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps with account access.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service: cloud hosting and database, an AI language model provider that drafts reply text from the review content you give us, and PayPal for payments. They process data only on our behalf and under their own security and confidentiality obligations. Some providers may process data outside Israel.
5. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your data and access tokens within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, payment records).
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, and to stop processing, by contacting us at info@maxbrann.com. Depending on where you live (for example, under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law or the EU GDPR), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, limited access and the minimum permissions needed. We never ask for your Google password. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the service working. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
MaxBrann is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, notify account holders in advance.
